This annual scholarship is awarded for academic achievement, related work experience, extracurricular activities, and community involvement to full-time students enrolled in an engineering program that has been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET-EAC.) 

ACEC-RI is a member organization of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC.) The organization’s objective is to promote the business and professional interests of the engineering community. The Rhode Island member firms are committed to encouraging students to pursue an engineering education. In support of that goal, they have been rewarding academic scholarships to deserving engineering students for 30 years with a cumulative total of approximately $196,500.
